dress, skirt or suit for women.

Meetings

South Africans do not like to be rushed
in their business deals. Meetings will
usually take place in a restaurant over
lunch or dinner.

Gifts

Gift giving is not normal practice in South
African business. If you do receive a gift, it
should be opened upon receipt.

Hand Gestures and Body Language

presented with the left hand – use your
right hand or both.
