St. Maartin is located in the Caribbean Sea about 150 miles southeast of Puerto Rico.
The island is the smallest landmass to be shared by two separate governments --- both French and Dutch.
They have 37 amazing beaches --- one for each of the island's 37 square miles.
Lots of shopping on the island, which many take advantage of because its one of the world's few duty-free ports ... luxury items cost up to 50% less than in other countries.
If you like to gamble there are 12 casinos --- all of them on the Dutch side.
English is spoken everywhere, but Dutch and French are the official languages.
Its sunny and warm year-round, with some cooling from trade winds.
