Palm Springs

Palm Springs lies in central Riverside County, about 225 kms east of Los Angeles. There are only 45,000 permanent year-round residents, but, nearly 2 million tourists visit Palm Springs each year and they are no doubt attracted by the weather. It averages 350 days of sunshine a year.

Golf courses, blue skies and snowcapped mountains are very enticing and there are literally hundreds of hotel swimming pools for you to lounge by or cool off in.

Now, Everyone has their own idea of relaxation in the Palm Springs... from golfing and shopping, to hiking or just basking in the sun. Others may be partial to spa treatments, museums, casinos or art galleries...all of which you can find in Palm Springs
